I definitely think this place has so much potential! Coffee was really yummy, and I'd definitely got again for coffee & service was delightful but the food was not well seasoned.

Thought we'd try this place on a whim since it's local, and wow! What a great choice. It was one of the best breakfasts we've had in Melbourne. Two of us had smashed avocado and fetta on seed toast with different eggs. The plate was perfectly portioned, balanced, flavourful, beautifully presented and everything was cooked to perfection. The coffee was also great and the interior and decor is nice, warm, clean and comfortable. Everything you want in a great Cafe. They have clearly put a lot of thought into every detail at this place. We will definitely be back again.

Came here for a late morning coffee. Can sit inside or outside the front. Busy and not easy to find a table. Noisy and crowded. Not relaxing. Friendly and quick service. Cappuccino good. No coffee loyalty card. Time limited street parking out the front.

Visited this cafe today with my family. Service and food were really quick. Coffee was amazing - Proud Mary is one of my all time favourites in Melbourne. No kids menu, so we ordered ham, cheese and tomato toasties for our kids which they loved. I had the NOK breakfast with bacon which was great - particularly the potato rosti and my hubby had the chilli scrambled eggs which he enjoyed. The only negative I will mention is that it is quite loud sitting inside and there was not any sound proofing up to reduce the noise level, so it was very hard to carry a conversation at times due to the volume of people inside. Things to note - space is really tight and if you have a pram (like we did) if there are others also with prams and highchairs, it can get a little tight and there is a step to get in and out of the cafe. The cafe courtyard is currently closed due to staffing issues, but you can enjoy sitting out the front outside. They take reservations. Parking is on the street and timed.

Absolutely love Next of Kin Cafe! The staff are always so lovely, warm, welcoming, and kind. You can really feel the good vibes as soon as you walk in. The food is incredible, everything is so fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. One of my favourite spots to eat and relax. Highly recommend!

I always come here after my work to get coffee and cake. The staff are good and they serve good coffees. My favorite dessert is the cake with coconut and raspberries, they're delicious and I've never had anything like. I highly recommend it to everyone to try. Their iced coffee is also good, I'm having it at the moment with a chocolate brownie, a good reward for a hard days work. The location is good though there's not much parking especially on the weekend but there's always side streets that you can find to park your car. The place is nice though it's a bit small but there's an outdoor seating with 6 chairs and 3 tables. There's also some seats at the back if you don't want to see people passing by. Over all, I highly recommend this place for coffee lovers.

Excellent experience. Food was very tasty, and whilst the big breakfast was more a moderate breakfast, the flavours and quality was great. Coffee was good, and everything came out very quickly even though they were quite busy. Table was a little rickety, but were picking at straws to find a significant issue
